The highly-anticipated FINAL VOLUME of the Epic Scott Pilgrim graphic novel series from Oni Press will be released on Tuesday July 20th… but internationally renown comic book store The Beguiling knows that real fans Just Can’t Wait That Long! To celebrate the release of this phenomenal graphic novel, they’re going to be throwing A GREAT BIG PARTY ON MONDAY JULY 19TH STARTING AT 9PM, which will culminate in the official release of SCOTT PILGRIM VOLUME 6: SCOTT PILGRIM’S FINEST HOUR at 12:01am–midnight!
Best of all, hometown-boy author Bryan Lee O’Malley will be on-hand to sign copies of the book, meet fans, and kick off the whole celebration! And we’re thrilled to announce that many of The Beguiling’s great neighbours on Markham St. are getting in on the act and there’ll be tons of amazing events going on all evening, starting at 9pm! 9pm: Universal Music Canada and ABKCO have teamed up with The Beguiling to do a World-Exclusive Premiere Listening Party for SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD, THE MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACK. Featuring new music by Beck, Metric, and Broken Social Scene, this is the most hotly-anticipated soundtrack of the year! Listening Party will start at 9PM, and we’ll run through the complete soundtrack twice!
10pm: Encore Presentation of the SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD Movie Soundtrack.
