Hey there! Maybe you haven’t been following TCAF on twitter or instagram (@torontocomics), so maybe you don’t know that the TCAF Shop @ Toronto Reference Library is awesome, and getting new and unique product in every day? Here’s a little bit of info to catch you up!

The Basics

The #TCAFshop is located at 789 Yonge Street, inside Toronto Reference Library. You can enter from Yonge Street, or from the library, and it’s open the same hours as the library!

Holiday Hours

The TCAFshop @ TPL currently keeps the same hours as Toronto Reference Library. As such, it will observe all of the holiday closures that Toronto Public Library is undergoing.

The TCAFshop will be open from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 24 and closed on Thursday, December 25, Friday, December 26 and Sunday, December 28. It will be open as usual on Saturday, December 27, 9:00am-5:00pm. It will be open 9:00am-1:00pm on New Year’s Eve, and closed on New Year’s Day.

New Product & Unique Product Lines

The TCAFshop has a tonnnn of cool merch in stock right now, making great gifts or stocking stuffers! Tintin and Peanuts you  may have already known about, but Monday saw the arrival of cool/cute Moomin and Studio Ghibli (Totoro, Kiki’s Delivery Service) material!

But that’s not all! The TCAF shop is also carrying a well-curated selection of magazines! Two very important issues this month too, with Taddle Creek featuring a new story by Michel Rabagliati (Paul Joins The Scouts) and The Walrus featuring the beginning of a new serial by Seth (Palookaville)!

The TCAFshop also carries a great selection of stationary, and literary-themed totes and shirts! Just a few of the many items in stock now displayed above, and new material coming in all the time!

Oh, and of course they carry graphic novels and books too, but since you’re already visiting The Beguiling, you’re probably very well-served on that front. Still, feel free to come by and check that out too. 😉
