Due to popular request, we are now shipping our exclusive 2016 Kate Beaton Tea Towel to customers in Canada, the U.S., and the U.K.! As you can see from the picture above, this 100% cotton tea towel features the titular Pony from Beaton’s bestselling children’s book The Princess & The Pony from Scholastic!

Because these are less than 100g and will fit in a letter-sized envelope, we can ship these out lettermail. No tracking information is available, but luckily shipping is very inexpensive!

This event ins produced by the good folks at Toronto Reference Library and The Bram & Bluma Appel Salon. Page & Panel: The TCAF Shop will be on hand with copies of all of Kate Beaton’s books for sale both in shop and at the event as official bookseller! Hooray!

Ticket Holders: Doors open at 6 pm. Please join us for a cash bar reception starting at 6 pm. As most Appel Salon events are free, it is our policy to overbook. In case of a full program, your ticket reservation may not guarantee admission. Ticket holder lineups for sold out events begin as early as 4pm.

Room Capacity: Based on fire code regulations the Appel Salon can accommodate seating for 458 in the main room. Seating is on a first come, first served basis. Additional overflow seating as well as standing room is available in the adjoining room.

Rush Seats: A limited number of rush seats will be made available on the day of the event, beginning at 6 pm. Rush seat ticket holders are not guaranteed admittance and will be admitted into the event at 6:50 pm if seats are available. Unclaimed reservations will be released to customers in the rush seat lineup 10 minutes prior to the start of the program. We recommend that you arrive early.

The Toronto Comic Art Festival and Kate Beaton have teamed to create an amazing new item, the Kate Beaton 2015 Red Riding Hood Tea Towel! Featuring an original illustration with Little Red Riding Hood, this unique item is as practical as it is lovely. Available in-store at The Beguiling for $18. Proceeds go to supporting The Toronto Comic Art Festival.
