Hey! We got a bunch of SPECIAL new books that aren’t “conventionally” available through places like Diamond! ooooo! Ahhhh!

First up is MOULD MAP #3, published by the good folks at Landfill Editions. This thing is insaaaaaaaane. It’s like 224 pages of the most beautiful book, with other art and other books stuffed inside it, and beautiful posters, and all stuffed into a bag. It’s UNREAL. The contributor list–Angie Wang, Blaise Larmee, Jonny Negron, Am Alden, Sammy Harkham, Yuichi Yokoyama among others–is amazing. This is a severely limited object, and if you do not pick it up IMMEDIATELY you will become upset when we are sold out in February and you waited. Just FYI. $60, first floor.

It’s always a good day when a new issue of John Porcellino’s KING CAT COMIX AND STORIES shows up in store, and issue #74 is no exception! Porcellino is a gem, if you’re not familiar with his book (he has 4 or 5 great books in print) then I urge you to read his stuff, at $4, it’s totally inexpensive!

AND! Directly from Japan comes two new mini-comics from “Minimal Comics” and creator Graeme McNee! His books “An Afternoon in Ueno” (black) and “Minimal Comics Volume 1 (white) are both really beautiful objects. Looks like risograph printing, multiple colours, paper stocks effects. Really gorgeous and neat little comics. $7 each, first floor.

PLUS! Matthew Thurber dropped by to sign copies of his awesome new book INFOMANIACS. He even drew pictures in each one, which was super cool and unexpected! Cover price, first floor.

Finally, we love Chip Zdarsky. He came and signed a bunch of copies of SEX CRIMINALS. Immaculately.
