JULY 4: OLD GROWTH PRESS LAUNCH EVENT!

OLD GROWTH PRESS PRESENTS…

Our second summer launch! Join us at the Beguiling as we present to you the work of Misbah Ahmed (Five Minutes in Karachi), Natalie Mark 麥月明 (From Yesterday) and Riley J. Piñeros (What They Don’t Know).

We will be hosting a zine-making workshop led by Rabeea Syed (https://rabeeasyed.com/) before the launch begins. This workshop is FREE of charge and all materials will be provided. Feel free to bring in a current project or make something brand new!

All three books as well as our artists’ other work will be available for sale (both cash and credit accepted). We will also be having a raffle to win all three of the publications, so arrive early to be sure you get a ticket!

More details to come! Stay tuned.

Old Growth Press acknowledges that it is based in Tkaronto, the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishinaabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples. Tkaronto and the surrounding area is still home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. By acknowledging the past, present, and future Indigenous persons living on this land, we aim to aid in the continued effort of decolonization across this land known as Canada.
