TIFF is one of the world’s most important film festivals and many French talents attend. These include filmakers, actors and producers, all of whom were subjects for photographer Jean-Baptiste Le Mercier. Through a gallery of portraits, his exhibit recounts intense meetings at the festival.
Jean-Baptiste Le Mercier has lived in Toronto for several years. As a portraitist he works not only in his studio, but also on location in the spirit of the documentary, where he can capture the interactions between the subjects photographed and their environment.
Exhibit from November 16th to December 16th as part of the European Union Film Festival (EUFF).
