MAY 1: Critical Crossroads with Douglas Rushkoff

@ Toronto Reference Library, Bram and Bluma Appel Salon
Free to attend. Tickets Required

Presented by Toronto Public Library and the Canadian Film Centre

One of todays most critically acclaimed media critics and theorists, Rushkoff discusses his new book, Throwing Rocks at the Google Bus, which explores the rise of new companies like Facebook and Google and why their successes have not translated into more equitable prosperity.

Rushkoff is also well known to comics fans for his many works, including this past October’s Aleister & Adolf (with Michael Avon Oeming), and Testament, and A.D.D. Adolescent Demo Division,  from Vertigo. This will be a great, free event! Page & Panel will be on-site doing book sales, and although we’re not actually hosting it, we encourage you to attend!
