Sunday: Official rally in solidarity after the terror attacks in France / Rassemblement de solidarité après les attaques terroristes en France

This Sunday, there will be a ‘rally in solidarity’ at Nathan Phillips Square, for the cartoonists, journalists, and police, killed in the recent terror attacks in France.  While this is not our event, we feel it is important to pass along the information. Hopefully it will provide catharsis for a community still very much reeling from a devastating attack. Facebook event is here.

NOT AFRAID! Come to stand up for freedom – freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of conscience.

A condolence book will be available on site and officially delivered to the Consulate of France in Toronto

Two minutes of silence will be observed for the French victims of terrorism and hate crimes, killed for being journalists, cartoonists, policemen, Jewish or ordinary citizens.

Don’t hesitate to bring pens, candles, flowers (and music
instruments)

MEME PAS PEUR.

When: Sunday January 11 @ 2pm
Where: Nathan Philips Square, City Hall (100 Queen Street West)
