Toronto! Get ready for a fantastic comics event as Robin McConnell, host of the INKSTUDS podcast and author of the new book of the same name, will interview Canada’s own Dave Cooper, who has recently released his own new artbook BENT! Following the interview will be a moderated Q&A with the audience, and a signing.

The event is going down on Sunday, November 28th, from 3pm-6pm next door to The Beguiling at The Central. Both the INKSTUDS book and Cooper’s BENT (as well as other fine graphic novels) will be available for sale.

This is a FREE event, and it’s going to be a lot of fun. Come on out and a have a beer and a bite to eat, and enjoy some great comics chatting.

After a long, long, loooong wait we have a new issue of Jason Lutes’ epic history series Berlin.

Charles Burns, acclaimed author of Black Hole, will be in Toronto this weekend for the International Festival of Authors and his new book X’ed Out has arrived just in time.

Picture This the newest work by Lynda Barry also arrived this morning. Her previous book What It Is was both wonderful and fantasticly popular here at The Beguiling and she will also a guest at the IFOA next weekend.

We also have Samuel Hiti’s insane new war book Death-Day in regular, sketched, and super fancy sketched versions and we’re offering a limited deal on it together with any of his previous works.

Finally, the 5th issue of Alan Moore’s magazine oddity Dodgem Logic is now in stock featuring more comics, photography, fiction, non-fiction, and pull-out section! We also have all previous issues back in stock.
